What each genius craves
The 6 types of working genius are effective and useful tools for people to name their genius (many don’t even know they have a genius) and have the language to explain what brings them joy and energy in the workplace.
Knowing your own geniuses and the geniuses of those on your team is very helpful in learning how to best function as a team.
So how do we encourage each person in their genius?
What might we do to unknowingly limit their joy and energy?
For example, those with the galvanizing genius crave engagement. Receiving some type of active response towards thier efforts fuels their energy as they seek to rally people toward a common goal . The worst thing for a galvanizer is apathy. It may even be better for them to hear pushback and reluctance to sense no reaction at all.
